Global warming is a very real problem (CC: Donald Trump) and this 11 May 2018, several local enterprises have partnered to organise a Chasing Coral Charity Sweat Sesh & Movie Screening.
The evening begins at 6.30pm with an intense sweat sesh led by Karen, co-founder of Kilter Avenue. She’ll be taking participants through a ZUU workout class, which features energy-pumping moves inspired by primal animal movements that build mobility and strength.
Afterwards, grab some food and drinks at the bar and settle down for the screening of documentary film ‘Chasing Coral’ at 7.30pm. The educational film addresses the severity of coral bleaching due to global warming and it’ll be a rough wake-up call about how humans are destroying nature.
Also, keep a look out for Rangoon Active‘s latest collection at the venue! 10% of the proceeds from the sales will be donated to the ‘Chasing Coral’ foundation.
While both the workout and movie screening are technically free, donations will be very much appreciated. All proceeds will go to ‘Chasing Coral’ to fund efforts for conservation, wildlife and the environment.
While this may not seem like much against the huge problem of global warming, every little step counts. So, grab your workout clothes and some popcorn and support this initiative!
Date & Time: 11 May 2018, 6:30pm – 9:30pm
Price: Free, but donations of any amount will be appreciated
