Singapore’s most recognised comedian and drag queen is turning 50, and you are all invited to the party. Taking place at the Capitol Theatre, Kumar50 is a flamboyant event that you should definitely catch.
From 28 February 2018 to 11 March 2018, the fabulously funny drag queen will have you in stitches with his hilarious antics and sharp wit.
Way back in the 90s, Kumar had a stint as an entertainer at Haw Par Villa, and then he started gaining fame when he was offered a leading role at a now defunct club called Boom Boom Room.
He can sing, and he can dance. But he’s at his best when he starts poking fun at the daily affairs of Singapore and her citizens. His jokes may be provocative, but who says we’re keeping it PG13 here anyway?
Join Kumar and his showgirls as they twerk their way onto the stage, and make sure to send your best wishes to him as he turns 50. For someone like Kumar, 50 years ain’t even that old.
