If your watch is barely holding on, and you’re looking for new time-telling investment, CASIO’s got you covered. The Japanese electronics company is updating its iconic and extensive, G-Shock collection with two new watches, the GMW-B5000TCM-1 and MTG-B1000DCM-1A.
The GMW-B5000TCM-1 wears a coat of diamond-like carbon (DLC) to shield it against everyday wear like scratches. Unlike its brethren, which are made of stainless steel, these two new models are made out of titanium. This makes them about 57 grams lighter, which gives the wearer more comfort and a lighter wrist.
Meanwhile, the MTG-B1000DCM-1A retains its stainless-steel make. It boasts an analogue display and is adorned with sapphire crystals. For protection, this watch is protected by the black ion-plated coating. The inside of the watch is coated in water-resistant resin. Both watches come in grey camouflage print.
Both the watches’ durability will work well in both a city setting or on a camping trip. The GMW-B5000TCM-1 and the MTG-B1000DCM-1A are built with Bluetooth connectivity to the G-Shock Connected app, Two-Way Time Sync Technology and Multi-Band 6 self-adjusting atomic timekeeping that is characteristic of all G-Shock watches.
In addition, the watches are solar-powered and water-resistant to a depth of 200 metres. If misplacing your phone is a bad habit of yours, these watches have a phone-finding feature to ease your anxiety.
The GMW-B5000TCM-1 sells at S$2999 while the sister watch goes for S$1799 apiece. Grab yours now at all G-Shock Casio Outlets apart from the store at IMM.
