If you’re a stickler for cleanliness, maybe you should stop reading this because you might feel faint at what’s to come. The Boryeong Mud Festival held from 13 to 22 July 2018 at Daecheon Beach in South Korea will make sure you’re covered with mud from head to toe.

As the largest global summer festival held annually, this 10-day, mud-drenched festival is here to make your dreams of frolicking in the thick sludge come true.
Along the 3.5km long, 100m wide shell beach resort, there will be a range of activities like the Giant Mud Bath, Mud Super Slide and even street parades for an adrenaline pumping experience. Plus, the mud is rich with minerals that hold excellent healing properties — forget your 10-step Korean skin care routine!

You can also expect a K-pop concert with an attractive line-up of artists like Dynamic Duo and Eddy Kim blasting music to add to the fun. And for fuel, the festival’s got you covered with a spread of fresh seafood delicacies such as grilled oysters, fat jumbo shrimps and sashimi.
It’s okay to get a little dirty sometimes, right?
