‘Whether you are an alcoholic who drinks straight from the tower, a connoisseur who wants to sample every single beer in the world, or you are just looking to spend some quality time with family and friends over drinks, I hope you’ve bought your passes to Beerfest Asia 2019 (Singapore), which happens later this week, from 27-30 June.
If you haven’t bought your Beerfest passes, you can buy them here. Prices start at S$20 for a single day pass which comes with a complimentary welcome beer. Still considering? Below are just some of the exciting activities in store for you. I can beerly hold my excitement.
Themed “Launching into the Beer Future”, you can expect a whole lot of innovative ideas at Beerfest Asia 2019. A highlight of this year’s Beerfest is the first ever Beerfest Run, where participants will run a full 2km around Marina Promenade and take part in five drinking stations along the way- I hope you’ll be able to hold it in because there is a reward at the end.
Upon completion, you will get a special 1-litre mug that can be used to top up your drinks at promotional prices. The run passes are sold separately from the festival passes at S$80 (single person).
Also making its debut at Beerfest Asia 2019 is Ignition, an extravaganza that encompasses music, lasers, lighting and video mapping with different themed nights: Throwback Thursday, Femme Fatale Friday, Temple of Trance on Saturday and Canto Sunday. A standard entry ticket will cost you S$45 and come with two beers. You can find out more information on the tickets as well as the DJ lineup here. On 30 June, Beerfest will transform into a fun-filled carnival where you can bring your kids or little furry friends. Your dog can also join in on the booze with dog beer, courtesy of FLOOF SG.
Of course, there will also be innovative beer flavours present at this event. One example is the Hibiscus Blueberry Mead, as well as Ma La Xiang Jiu, which is a mala-flavoured beer brewed with peppercorns that mala fans out there can enjoy.
It is gonna be four days of non-stop beer drinking and fun, so there is no better time to grab your friends to join in the festivities- maybe even your enemies. After all, I’m pretty sure you’ll have so much fun (read: beer) that you won’t even remember who you were with the night before.
