Art festivals in Singapore are aplenty, but ARTas Singapore 2018 is one that’s specially curated for young people in the creative scene.
The same people behind The Barter Factory will be bringing ARTas Singapore back for its third run on 30 June 2018 at St. Francis Road, featuring emerging Singaporean artists.
Despite the pun on the local slang, Atas (used to describe something of high social status), the atmosphere at ARTas is anything but snobby.
Expect chill tunes from local singer-songwriters such as Vivien Yap, Steph Yeap and Irwin Zephyr Tan.
You can also get your hands dirty with dyeing and calligraphy workshops held by Barnabas Chua and Jaime Lycia Chua. Oh, and did we mention? They’re completely free, so you have no excuse not to go!
Engage in art for a cause when you catch 3 Odd Ducks, Haiku Fever and many other artists you don’t want to miss.
Join ARTas Singapore this end of the month if you’re on the hunt for unexpected art!
