XiaoMi recently announced a whole series of products at the Artificial Intelligence of Things (AIoT) event, such as the long-awaited Mi Band 4 and the Mini AI Teacher alongside other smart-home products, but this luggage collaboration is what we are looking forward to the most.
XiaoMi has once again collaborated with LINE Friends to release a new, limited edition Brown Bear suitcase luggage. The 20-inch luggage suitcase will retail for RMB399 (approximately S$79) on Xiaomi’s website on 16 June 2019.
This adorable suitcase is only available in China, but you can probably get it shipped to Singapore by using XiaoMi’s Tmall store.
You aren’t just paying for a normal suitcase with Brown on it. The suitcase has many features, such as a 360-degree wheel, a handle made of Thermoplastic Polyurethane and a TSA-approved lock. Its 20″ size also makes it perfect to bring on as hand carry cabin baggage.
This is not the first collaboration between Xiaomi and LINE Friends – they have previously made a special edition phone and power bank featuring Brown as well.
It should also be noted that XiaoMi has worked with LINE friends on a different suitcase, with Brown’s friend Sally. These products were launched on 1 April 2019. LINE sure is making headway into China with these strategic partnerships, and consumers are benefiting from it.
