What’s Done Is Done: Shakespeare’s Macbeth Reimagined With A Twist At The Esplanade Theatre On 26 May ’17

One of Shakepeare’s famed tragedies, Macbeth tells the tale of a star soldier who turns into a tyrant in his lust for continued dominance. In this re-imagination of the classic play directed by Bollywood actor Rajat Kapoor, What’s Done Is Done manages to insert a contemporary twist into the production while staying true to the original story.

Performing for one night only at the Esplanade Theatre on 26 May 2017, you can expect to be wowed by strong performances from an ensemble packed with stars from the Indian subcontinent. If you are familiar with Macbeth, then the themes of power, guilt, falsehoods and the supernatural should come as no surprise to you.
