Big Discounts at Shopee General Elections (with Cooling-off Day!) — Results on 10 July

As a true blue Singaporean and a soon-to-be second-time voter, I’ve never felt more pursued by our politicians. As the heat of the 13th General Elections draws near, Shopee, too, decides to join in the hype of virtual campaigns with their first-ever Shopee General Elections.

Here’s how the Shopee GE works:

1. From now to 8 July 2020, users can vote for their favourite items based on the wide array of categories from Electronics, Beauty, and Fashion that you want to be discounted on Shopee.

2. Similar to our GE2020, 9 July 2020 is the Cooling-off Day. While we take this break to evaluate the proposals of different political parties, users can enjoy exclusive Home Appliance deals.

3. On 10 July 2020, as we head off to our respective polling stations to exercise our sacred rights as citizens, don’t forget to tune in to the Shopee Choice Awards, which is announced on the same day. We can find out if our favourite items have received the majority vote.

It is exciting because a flat 20% discount applies to all items with the majority vote for only one day.
