Catch Singapore’s very first World Boxing Champion, Muhamed Ridhwan, in what will be the biggest International Boxing Organisation (IBO) event in Asia. Better known as “The Chosen Wan”, he claimed the Championship in May 2017, during The Roar Of Singapore II.

Come 20 October 2017, watch as he fights it out on home ground, taking on more experienced boxers from South Africa, Thailand and Australia in a bid to claim the title. The first he will be up against is Namibia’s Nataneal Sebastian for the IBO International Super Featherweight title – an opponent who has a record of nine wins and zero losses. With five of them being a complete knockout, this match is sure to be a nail-biter.

Although Ridhwan only started fighting professionally in 2016, he has indeed proven to be quite the chosen one, quickly making his way up to the top rung and winning titles such as the World Boxing Association (WBA) Asia Super Featherweight. Singapore is also fast becoming a leading global fight destination, with potential for even more international exposure.

If Ringstar Management is bent on bringing world-class fights to this little red dot, it looks like The Chosen Wan is up for a fight that will be far from disappointing. So people of Singapore, it’s time to gather and show this homegrown fighter all the support we can.

Date & Time: 20 October 2017, 5pm

Prices: $48 – $68
