Sungha Jung will be returning to Singapore for his sixth headlining show on 22 July 2017.
Renowned as one of the finest teenage fingerstyle guitarists in the world at the tender age of 20, Sungha Jung uses his own unique fingerstyle to create and arrange one-of-a-kind renditions. From contemporary to classic, jazz to pop, he has done it all. And has done it very well indeed.
His own personal take on famous songs has always proved to be heart-warming and soul-wrenching. I love the way he is able to use the guitar like a piano and stimulate the melody, bass, accompaniment and percussion all on one single instrument – creating music that is whole and calming.
This year, Sungha Jung also brings something special to the show. With the release of his seventh solo album, he will be performing a carefully curated set list of originals and crowd favourites. He will even be partnered by Singapore’s very own Niel Chan!
