Singapore’s largest pop-culture convention turns 10 this September! Just as before, STGCC is set to be a two-day event held from 9 – 10 September 2017 at the Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Centre on Level B2’s Halls D, E & F.
This annual celebration of all things geeky will feature everything from comics, toys and gaming products to anime, cosplay and manga collectibles up for grabs.
Attendees can also expect an awesome line-up of industry heavyweights, including notable comic book artist Arthur Adams and writer Frank Cho, together with popular manga artist Takuya Fujima and illustrator Joyce Chin. Toy designers Mark Nagata and Simone Legno will be making an appearance as well.
In addition, the Akiba Denpa Zone set aside for cosplayers will be equipped with several makeup vanities and prop fixing stations. Not only will you get to engage with fellow cosplayers within the community, you might also bump into guest cosplayers, Leon Chiro and Shimo.
With an eclectic mix of cutting edge content from the East and West, STGCC 2017 is going to be huge this year! There may be an abundance of anime events out there, but there sure as hell aren’t enough game-centric conventions. I’d say this is a must-go when the weekend rolls around.
