If you’re a fan of King Leonidas or Kim Jong Kook from Running Man, you’ve probably heard of the term Sparta.
Known to have built one of the best militaries in the ancient times, the Spartan society expects top-notch physical conditions and the Spartan Race occurring this 6 May 2017 will bring the spirit of that to fellow Singaporeans.
240 of such races are featuring in 25 countries globally this year, making it arguably the world’s best obstacle course race which includes signature elements such as the Fire Jump, Barbed Wire Crawl and Spear Throw.
This ultimate test of endurance has two main race components; the Sprint (5+km) and the Super (13+km). For the little spartans below age 14, there is even a Junior category available. The main components break down into sub-categories called Elite, Competitive and Open, with cash prizes of up to $1000!
