Calling all artists, collectors, and art book enthusiasts! From 29 June to 1 July 2018, the Singapore Art Book Fair (SGABF) will take place at the NTU Centre for Contemporary Art Singapore located in Gillman Barracks.
This independent annual festival showcases a variety of art books, catalogues, monographs, zines, and other prints to the public. There’s no question that they are pleasing to the eye, but these collections aim to provoke the audience as well — encouraging relevant discussions and raising aesthetic appreciation.
Staged locally, the SGABF will represent both local and international exhibitors, featuring new artists and publishers to freely share their passion with us. The fair will also be complemented by other artistic fringe activities such as live band performances.
Who knows, a brief walk around the exhibition might help with your creative block or even inspire you to pursue what you’ve always wanted to do.
