For fans of Sanrio, the famed Japanese company that introduced renowned pop culture characters such as Gudetama and Hello Kitty, you will be thrilled with this piece of news.
Sanrio Float Town, the biggest floating playground in Asia has undergone a revamp and is set to be opened to the public on 31 October 2019 in the Philippines for a limited run.
Iconic Sanrio characters such as Gudetama, Hello Kitty and Little Twin Stars will be making their appearance in the form of inflatables that occupy the vast majority of this float town. Whether you are lounging by the beach or having fun by the majestic blue sea overlooking the playground, these characters will be part of your magical experience.
Beach beds lined up on the beach will allow for a relaxing time lounging under the sun and giant sunflowers act as beach umbrellas for shade. Adorable Gudetamas inflatables are also placed around the beach beds and it provides a pleasurable sight in addition to shade.
For Hello Kitty fans, there is a huge inflatable Hello Kitty overwater island playground for you to enjoy at. Apart from having fun at the playground, it is also a photo zone for you to have amazing pictures taken with the sea as a stunning backdrop.
This float town is open to all ages of the public and for those who are worried about the safety of your children, fret not, life vests are available and lifeguards will also be present to ensure the safety of everyone.
