I’m sure we have all heard about the Samsung Galaxy Fold, Samsung’s first foldable phone that took the internet by storm. Two weeks since its announcement, there have already been faults reported, which Samsung is working actively to resolve.

In the meantime, let’s hold our horses and turn our attention toward the Samsung Galaxy S10 that boasts a couple of innovative upgrades from its predecessors, launching today (8 March 2019).
With much excitement, let’s delve into three of our favourite features of the new Samsung Galaxy S10:
1. Camera With Optical Zoom & Wide-Angle View
Photography buffs are in for a treat. Compared to its previous models, the Galaxy S10 has gotten an extra third camera upgrade in the form of a 16-megapixel ultra wide angle lens.

What does that mean? Gone are the days where you have to squeeze into confined spaces or step back continuously to fit your subject into the camera frame. Well, isn’t that really nifty?
And of course, Samsung understands that not everybody is versed in photography, such as adjusting the aperture setting, etc. No need to fear with Samsung’s new “shot suggestion” function which analyses the subject and suggests the best settings possible.
2. 4K Screen Display

If you thought the screen resolution of the previous Samsung models were impressive, think again. With 600 ppi resolution, the new Samsung Galaxy S10 delivers sharp and crisp visuals every time. With that, Virtual Reality (VR) experience is also taken to the next level.

Samsung also noted that the heightened 4K visual experience drains the battery faster. Hence, there is an option for users to adjust the screen resolution. Talk about versatility!
As someone who usually watches movies and videos on my phone, this is definitely a game-changing experience.
3. Wireless PowerShare
In this digital era, the last thing you want is your phone to run out of juice. With Wireless Power share, you can use the Samsung Galaxy S10 to charge phones without a cable. How awesome is that?
Maybe this could be the birth of another first world problem: people sucking each other’s battery dry? lols. But jokes aside, this innovative creation could potentially save us in many situations.
With all the ingenuity put into this masterpiece, this is definitely the gadget to look out for this year. Do let us know your thoughts on the Samsung Galaxy S10 new features.
