“I am Sailor Moon, champion of justice!” Calling all Sailor Moon fans, our favourite collaborative make-up brand—ColourPop, has finally produced a collection of Sailor Moon themed make-up! Sailor Moon, if you don’t already know, first originated as a Japanese shōjo manga series written and illustrated by Naoko Takeuchi. In 1992, the manga was adapted into an animation series that was broadcasted in Japan.
Our champion of justice made its way into popular culture in 1995, when it was licensed to be broadcasted in the U.S. Since then, Sailor Moon has wiggled her way into our hearts and minds.
ColourPop is an American make-up brand that was founded in the City of Angels—Los Angeles back in 2014. Priding itself with wallet-friendly prices, high-quality and a wide range of products, this brand has quickly become a cult favourite in the past six years.
This collaboration comes with five different products which include: the Pretty Guardian shadow palette, Pressed Powder Blushes, Gliterally Obsessed Bundle, Moonlight Lip Bundle, and Daylight Lip Bundle.
That’s one 12-shades eyeshadow palette, three different shades of pressed powder blush, and four different lip glosses which come in bundles of two respectively.
Sailor Moon x ColourPop will drop on 20 February 2020, 10 AM PST, which means it’ll be available for sale on 21 February 2020, 2 AM GMT in Singapore. I must say, as someone who wears no make-up at all, even I bought an eyeshadow quad from ColourPop—it was part of the Jenn Ne Sais Quoi collection back in 2016.
If you’re a fan of Sailor Moon or ColourPop, I suggest you either stay up late or wake up early for this drop, I predict it will sell out fast!
