Pokemon-Themed Shoes, Caps & Bags Released By Pony Available In Bangkok

After the blockbuster collaboration between Adidas Neo and The Pokemon Company, I’d thought I’ll never see another Pokemon merchandise for quite a while. But I was proven wrong with the release of Pokemon-themed shoes, caps and bags by Pony now available in Bangkok.

In case you aren’t familiar, Pony is an American brand that specialises in athletic footwear, but has recently expanded towards streetwear and clothing. So the collaboration with The Pokemon Company makes sense.

As a Pokemon fan, I have come across many merchandises but although these aren’t exactly the caps that Ash Ketchum wears, they are still pretty nifty. These caps are dressed in jet black with Pikachu and Pokeball logos donned on it. If you ever feel like going hypebeast along with some Pokemon flair, then you can’t go wrong with these.

For street shoes, designs feature the iconic Pokemon from the franchise such as Pikachu, Evee, Snorlax and Charmander. Each of them comes in the form of a white canvas shoe, with the Pony logo taking on a matching colour to that of the corresponding Pokemon.

Their bags are also really impressive. With their sleekness, they promise to complement any outfit you are wearing.

I’m utterly sold by the Pokemon caps and bags. Given that Bangkok is only a three hour flight away, making your way there just to get the merchandise doesn’t seem like a bad idea.
