Looking for an interesting way to spend your mundane weekend? Head down to PetExpo 2019 held at Singapore Expo on the 12 – 14 April 2019 and engage in a day of fun-filled activities and workshop that will bring you closer to your pet. Those without a fur kid are also welcomed to enjoy the event.
PetExpo 2019 boasts an impressive lineup of competitions, workshops and performances that span across three days. Some of the highlight events include:
K9 Sports: Dog Dancing (12 Apr, 12pm – 1pm)
It’s time to put all those dance practices with your dog at home to good use — now is your chance to show off your dog’s Michael Jackson moves by performing tricks and dances at command.
Your furkid could even learn basic tricks from our trainer and walk away with attractive prizes. It will be a fun-filled event watching those little pups twirl adorably on stage. Do take note that your dogs have to be at least six months old to join.
Free Flying Show (13 – 14 Apr, 4pm & 6pm)
If you think parrots can only mimic human’s speech, think again. Watch in awe as these beautiful birds soar effortlessly and dazzle you with jaw-dropping tricks.
Get a chance to hold them for a photo-taking session by contributing S$2, where the proceeds go to charity.
Guppy Challenge 2019 (12 – 14 Apr, 11am – 8pm)
You have heard of human pageants. But have you heard of guppy pageants? Guppy Challenge 2019 judges the size, shape and colour/patterns of the guppies. Do pop by and be swept away by the beauty of these colourful fishes.
Fur4hope (12 Apr, 11am – 7pm)
PetExpo 2019 will be hosting Fur4Hope on 12 April 2019, the first charity dog grooming event of its kind in Singapore, with 100% of the proceeds going towards participating dog shelters.
As the name suggests, grooming services such as hair care and nail grooming will be available ranging between S$5 – S$20. So take this opportunity to pamper your pup while doing your part for charity.
Take time off your busy schedule to bring your pet out, bond over activities and learn how to better care for them. I’m sure they will love you even more than they already do.
