June is Pride Month, a month where people gather to raise awareness for the LGBT community. But other than the annual Pink Dot event, do you know that there are other events in Singapore that celebrate love and equality too?
One such event is Pasar Pink!, which will take place this Sunday, 16 June 2019 at the Open Farm Community, jointly presented by Sunday Social Market and Pink Fest.
At the event, you can hunt for that perfect piece to complete your outfit or your home. This event is a great place to look for items to showcase that extra bit of personality.
What is a pasar without food? While Hari Raya is officially over and pasar malams are closing for the year, don’t worry. You can fill your tummies with delicious bites at Pasar Pink!, courtesy of Open Farm Community and Tiong Bahru Bakery Dempsey Hill, among many other food vendors who will be present.
You will not be shopping or eating in silence too. Blackout Agency will be bringing their talented DJs down to the event to provide you a day of good ol’ house music.
Regardless of your sexual preference, Pasar Pink! is the first of its kind of inclusive pasar malam and you should definitely head down to Open Farm Community this Sunday because everyone is welcome, celebrated and equal.
