Onitsuka Tiger Sakiori: Classic Kicks With Woven Accents Available In SG Stores From 15 June ’17

Our eyes are on Onitsuka Tiger‘s new release — the renowned sneaker company has recently recreated its iconic MEXICO 66 and LAWNSHIP 2.0 models with sakiori accents, a weaving technique from the traditional Edo period in Japan.

The Sakiori collection uses old pieces of cloth torn into thin strips, which are then intricately woven into a unique design onto the sneaker.

The uppers of the classic sneakers are decorated with sakiori materials, which create a traditional yet modern feel — allowing you to pull off a classy look with a touch of old-world charm.

The highly anticipated sneakers are now available in Onitsuka Tiger stores in Singapore (Suntec City and Vivocity), so hurry on down today to take a look at these beauties and purchase a pair or two.

Price: S$199
