The King of Rock lives on in Romito Mendoza and Reto Caviezel’s rendition of top hits, performed at the Esplanade on 9 March 2018, in It’s Now Or Never – A Tribute to Elvis Presley.
Reto & Romito are known as the power duo who also brought Rolling Good Times and Star Search to the Esplanade’s stage in previous years. They will be singing classics such as Blue Hawaii, Hound Dog, and Return to Sender during the concert.
With the band, Dimension 5, and the Tsu string ensemble playing the backing tracks, you’ll see Presley’s masterpieces in a new light.
Few students nowadays have grown up listening to Presley’s music, so the student discount on tickets (S$20) makes it even easier for you to experience the bygone times. You can make it the agenda for a memorable outing with friends, while learning about the King of Rock’s legacy!
