Nike has recently announced that they will not be supplying to small retailers due to their decision to expand online. This means that we will not be seeing Nike in the popular Queensway Shopping Centre, which specialises in selling sporting goods.
The massive market online is a great potential for Nike to grow their business thus resulting in the decision to stop supplying to smaller retailers. Nike’s decision to implement this move is to provide a greater consumer satisfaction at larger retail outlets as well as their online stores.
This announcement by Nike might have just shook the stability of the stores at Queensway Shopping Centre whose businesses rely on popular brands such as Adidas and Nike.
