Nespresso Releases Barista Creations With 3 New Blends Specially For Milk Coffee Lovers

Nespresso is known for its wide variety of black espresso coffees and while adding milk to coffee is just another expression, am I the only one who feels guilty doing so? A coffee purist will debate you on how adding milk dilutes the coffee’s taste and dynamics. But Nespresso has figured it out.

After six years of researching how coffee and milk blends together, you’ll be happy to know that Nespresso has released its new BARISTA CREATIONS range inspired by the finest baristas in the world, which includes three new permanent coffees specially tailored for the addition of milk. Each capsule sleeve retails for S$7.60 with 10 capsules each.

The coffees come in CHIARO, SCURO and CORTO capsules. CHIARO offers natural sweetness along with a mild roast fragrance, the perfect pick-me-up at teatime. SCURO, on the other hand, boasts intense roasted flavours along with notes of nut and cereal.

As I like my coffee rich and full-bodied, my favourite has to be the CORTO blend. Inspired by baristas in Spain, CORTO (which means short in Spanish) does the job with its dark roasted characteristics. The blend of African Arabica and Robusta beans are roasted at length, giving the coffee a peppery tinge, and is creamy and easy to drink when paired with milk.

Using a BARISTA CREATIONS Corto capsule, milk and cinnamon, I’m going to share an easy five-minute coffee recipe to make a cup of Cinnabonbon coffee.

How To Make A Cup Of Cinnabonbon Coffee

1. Pour 12.5ml of condensed milk into a cup.

2. Extract 40ml of Barista Creations Corto shot on top.

3. Add 40ml of hot water.

4. Add 20ml of milk into the Aeroccino milk frother and make a Cappuccino froth.

5. Once ready, add only the froth on top of your coffee. Check out the beauty of the harmonious blending of colours.

6. Top it off with a dash of cinnamon powder and enjoy.
