Championing the cause of creating awareness and empathy for Persons with Intellectual Disability (PWID) and their caregivers, MINDS Film Festival will be happening from 29 July – 5 August 2017 at Golden Village VivoCity.
In its second run, the festival aims to use the power of cinema to appeal to different communities in society to band together in support for PWIDs and their caregivers.
This year, the Singapore Film Society and MINDS will once again be partnering up to bring to you six films from five different countries including China, Malaysia, Sweden, UK and USA.
Touching on topics such as Down Syndrome and autism, you can look forward to highlights like My Feral Heart which sold out two screenings last year, as well as the HBO Original, Temple Grandin.
Instead of catching a regular blockbuster hit in the cinemas, why not enjoy a meaningful film while supporting a good cause at MINDS Film Festival?
Dates & Times: 29 July – 5 August 2017, refer here for screening schedule
Price: $6 per film (admission for Temple Grandin is free)
