Stuck in the past? Relive the good ol’ days at Chinatown Food Street this 4 & 5 November 2017, with the Local Lingo Tingkat Party!

Experience everything local at this street food and indie art festival. Brace yourselves for everything from local-inspired crafts, to design workshops, and even building your own tingkat (a tiffin carrier commonly used to contain food in Southeast Asian countries).
You get to choose three dishes from the Chinatown Food street vendors, and these go into your very own, limited edition tingkat. You even get to bring the tingkat home as a memento – $12 is all it takes to buy you a little slice of the past.

Look forward to craft workshops as well; learn how to make bags and pouches inspired by iconic local goods. Remember the ‘Good Morning’ towels that almost every house uses? Now, you can carry a scrap of that past with you as a drawstring pouch.
Come on down for a blast from the past you won’t want to miss!
Dates & Time: 4 & 5 November 2017, 1pm – 11pm
Prices: Free admission (workshops priced individually)
