When it comes to sports apparel, we usually have in mind major sportswear brands like Nike and Adidas. But a few up-and-coming homegrown sports apparel brands like Kydra have also been garnering quite a bit of attention on social media.
So, what’s the difference really?

We managed to get our hands on the newly-launched Thalia Flex Bra by Kydra in two colours, and we’ll be putting it to the test to see if it’s any good.
Here’s a list of qualities we’re looking out for:
- Comfort Level & Size Fit
- Support
- Breathability & Moisture-Wicking Capacity
- Style
I’m quite particular with my sports bras because my exercise regime usually involves high-intensity workouts, and I was super excited to see how this one would hold up.
First things first, what you’ll be getting with the Thalia Flex Bra is a seamless snug fit that will give you the space and flexibility to move around without any bits digging into your flesh. Comfort level checked.
Support-wise, it wasn’t the best I’ve tried on before, but it held up decently in my usual two-hour gym routine. There was… some movement around my chest area during the hardcore cardio sessions but hey, that’s totally understandable.
I’ll rate it as providing medium support as I was quite impressed by the sleek yet sturdy band of the sports bra.
And now, on to the most important factor when it comes to choosing a good sports bra – how well did the Thalia Flex Bra perform on the breathability and moisture-wicking test?
Do note that Kydra’s sports bras come with a 87% Nylon and 13% Spandex combination, thus exuding a velvety texture that’ll make you forget that you’re actually wearing anything at all.
However, this type of material wasn’t totally ideal for a sweaty situation. The bra did absorb all my perspiration during the workout but it left me feeling damp and slightly uncomfortable. If you’re wearing a light-coloured shirt over your sports bra, you’ll probably see the sweat stains.
On a more positive note, can I just say that this sports bra has got some serious style. For the very first time, I felt absolutely confident working out in only my sports bra.
I mean, it’s not everyday that you’ll spot a sweet nude pink colour on a sports bra.
Kydra’s Thalia Flex Bra is a stylish piece of workout apparel that is engineered to give you the comfort and support you’ll need on a day to day basis.
If you’re looking to get functional sports apparel that’ll cater to light – medium exercises and double up as casual outfits, order a sports bra from Kydra and see what we mean!
