In Their Own Words is an exhibition from 4 – 7 May 2017 that focuses on Gender Equality and Feminism. If you’ve heard of Emma Watson and her speech about #HeForShe, you’ll probably have a good idea about what this is all about.
Organised by the Singapore Committee for UN Women to support the He For She campaign, this exhibition is a photo series by Jenson Lee, and 10 unique individuals will be featured.
Like Emma Watson, they are the ones advancing the Gender Equality cause through their respective aspirations, professions and passions – so get ready to immerse yourself into the motivating stories of these everyday human beings who strive to make a difference.
