It’s a birthday party and we’re all invited!
This 10 – 13 May 2018, IKEA Singapore is proving that not only can it spruce up homes, it also knows how to throw a birthday bash in style. Head down to either of the outlets during these four days to participate in workshops and competitions, enjoys shows and take a snap at the photo booth!
Get creative and crafty with workshops like terrarium making, mug marbling and brush lettering. Otherwise, partake in a culinary experience at the live cooking demonstrations or get hands-on by decorating some cookies and macarons. Meanwhile, kids can attend the storytelling, balloon sculpting and face painting sessions.
On 12 May, 2pm – 5pm at IKEA Alexandra and 13 May, 2pm – 5pm at IKEA Tampines, keep a lookout for The Muttons who will be hosting AS-IS auctions for select pieces of furniture. Compete alongside them in the furniture-building competition and stand to win gift cards and a chance to bring home what you’ve built.
IKEA members can also redeem free food at select timings during this whole period. As for non-members, don’t fret about missing out — it’s still a good opportunity to scout for home goods as certain items will be sold at promotional prices of up to 40% off. Besides, the live band performances will also amp up your shopping experience.
Admission to workshops are on a first-come, first-serve basis so do arrive early to sign up. We’re also eyeing the limited edition 40th anniversary pins. Snag one if you can, they’re adorable!
