This is by far the coolest way to celebrate the history of anything, like ever.
The inaugural Fullerton Concours d’Elegance is a three-day showcase of a myriad of cars – both old and new – organised as part of the Fullerton Building’s 90th-anniversary celebrations, between 29 June to 1 July 2018.
Guests can expect to stare in awe at classic cars from the ’70s, antiques from the ’30s, and even restored vintage cars from as early as the ’20s.
Additionally, 2018 models from Ferrari as well as Rolls-Royce will make an appearance, and guests will be the first in the region to view these spectacular supercars.
The best part? Admission to both the outdoor and indoor car exhibitions at the Fullerton Hotel is completely free!
In addition to the exhibition, there’ll also be a variety of other activities, including a family carnival at the Merlion Park, as well as live musical performances. For access to more events, tickets are available starting from S$9.90.
You might ask, what’s so special about the Fullerton Building? This National Monument once housed the General Post Office, touted as the “most important post office in the East”. It also served as “Mile Zero”, the starting point from which all of Singapore was measured.
Well, I guess it’s quite poetic that a car exhibition is held in celebration of “Mile Zero”, without which, none of the mile-covering that these cars are made for would be possible. Anywho, it’s the perfect opportunity for you to bring along your family and celebrate a little of Singapore’s history, in the most fashionable way!
Dates: 29 June – 1 July 2018, 10am – 10pm
Price: Free admission with limited access, tickets are between S$9.90 – S$190 per pax
