Whether you know it or not, we all have a little dancer in all of us — whether you’ve strutted like Travolta to “Saturday Night Fever”, or bounced to the rhythm of Hi-5 songs when you were a kid (not judging).
So embrace the dancer in you and celebrate this exciting form of art at the da:ns Festival from 20 to 29 October 2017. There will be a ton of performances and workshops that you can attend, and some of them are even free!
One of the headliners is Benjamin Millepied’s L.A. Dance Project, a dance company founded by Millepied to create and showcase world-class choreography to the world. If the name Millepied rings a bell, it’s because he is a renowned choreographer who starred in the movie “Black Swan”.
L.A. Dance Project will be performing four dynamic works, two of them curated by Millepied himself.

There will also be free activities like “everybody da:ns now”, a mini dance party where you can strut your stuff and dance like nobody’s watching. Workshops conducted by professional dancers around the world will also be there to teach you a thing or two, so you can possibly star in a Step Up movie. Possibly.
So start scrubbing those dancing shoes, and get dancing with the stars this October.
Dates: 20 – 29 October 2017
