This year, we celebrate 50 years of National Service (NS50) in Singapore but watching reruns of ‘Ah Boys To Men’ is not quite enough to honour the contributions that our Singaporean sons have made to nation-building.
Brought to you by homegrown artists from the Singapore Art Society, Commemorating NS50 Through Art will be running from 24 – 29 June 2017 to pay tribute to the many generations of national servicemen who have served and protected Singapore.
Similar to how every father passes on the duty of defending our nation to his son, this exhibition showcases the works of first generation artists through to third generation ones, providing a creative take on NS50.
As Singapore continues to prosper, take this opportunity to remember our national servicemen as well as local artists — both of whom have contributed significantly to the growth and success of our nation.
Dates & Times: 24 June 2017, 4.30pm (Opening), 25 – 29 June 2017, 11am – 9pm (Exhibition Period)
