Returning for the third time in a row, CharaExpo 2017 will be running from 9 – 10 September 2017 at the Suntec Convention & Exhibition Centre. Once again featuring all sorts of content from the Japanese subculture, attendees can expect to find everything from anime and cosplay to manga and games.
To celebrate Bushiroad’s 10th anniversary, the event will showcase a trading card area where tournaments will be held concurrently. In addition, cosplayers can participate in CosStage to show off their very best costumes and stand a chance to win an all-expenses-paid invitation to the Cosplay Collection Night at the TOKYO GAME SHOW in September this year.
Event-goers will also get the opportunity to meet their favourite guest cosplayers including, Hakken, Knitemaya and Yui.
If you’ve been keeping track of all of the cosplay events happening in 2017, you’ll notice that the convention clashes with STGCC. But hey, if your mind is set on Chara, you should waste no time in getting your early-bird tickets!
