There are days when I look at my endless online wishlist and feel dejected — it’s just not economically sustainable for me to purchase that many pieces of clothing, and I’m sure I’m not the only one facing the same problem.
That’s going to change at the Carousell Charity Clothes Buffet, happening from 28 – 29 April 2018. The concept is pretty much the same as that of a buffet, except you take as many pieces of clothing you can physically fit into a bag instead of a plate.
As with other buffets, this, of course, comes at a price. But considering the number of pieces you’re getting, it’s still an amazing bargain.
The various buffet bag sizes go from S$5 – S$15, so take your pick depending on how many pieces catch your eye.
By spending at this clothes buffet, you’re also doing a good deed — all proceeds will go to the Salvation Army, along with items that are not sold.
Another way you can contribute is by donating your lightly-worn clothes to the event from now till 27 April 2018. As an added bonus, the more clothes you donate, the greater the discount you’ll get when purchasing a buffet bag.
While you’re at the clothes buffet, you can also take this chance to familiarise yourself with Carousell’s new designated meetup spots in Fraser Malls, where you’re free to carry out your transactions.
