The annual gathering of weaboos and otakus, C3 AFA Singapore, is back and it’s all going down this 24 – 26 November 2017.
Anime related merchandise stands and three days of chart-topping musical acts from Japan are stealing the headlines, but the only real reason to come is this unique opportunity for all of the anime-loving community to get together at Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre Hall 406.
Cosplayers will roam the hall premises in expertly-crafted outfits, often DIY-ed, serving as a great photo opportunity for fans of the characters they are representing. There was even a dedicated Sword Art Online zone and One Punch Man Run in last year’s rendition so you can expect something along the same vein this year, only bigger and better.
On the music side of things, fans of idols NOGIZAKA46 should mark their dates as their visit will be their first ever performance in Singapore! Alongside them, FLOW, ClariS and May’n will feature over the weekend, performing your favourite OSTs.
Anime fans are arguably as loyal as they come, unwavering in their dedication and this special festival that has been running for almost 10 years is a superb testament to that. If you’re looking to come out of the closet with your fanaticism, there’s no better time than at C3AFA!
