Fancy some literary intoxication? Well, Books & Beer offers just that. Singapore’s first travelling book swap has given bookworms islandwide the chance to congregate. Switching venues each time, the 37th instalment is set to be held at Alchemist Beer Lab on 21 May 2017 from 3pm to 6pm.
Just bring along 10 pre-loved books for the exchange! That way, you can clear out your bookshelves whilst recycling titles that you don’t read anymore – what better way to share in your love for books than to pass them onto someone else who will appreciate them?
Grab a craft beer from Alchemist’s “infusion beer lab” while you’re at it and mingle with some like-minded people. Who knows? You might pick up some good reads or maybe even discover new authors you’ve never heard of before.
If you’re a fellow bibliophile, save the date because this will definitely make for an unforgettable afternoon! (Depending on how much beer you drink).
