From Singapore to Singaporean: The Bicentennial Experience is a multimedia sensory exhibition that allows you to witness key moments in Singapore’s 700 year history. As the centrepiece event of the Singapore Bicentennial 2019, you’ll get to go back in time as far 1299 to see Singapore’s transformation through the years.
The Bicentennial Experience is currently open to the public until 15 September 2019 and has two-parts including the “Pathfinder” and “Time Traveller”.

The Pathfinder is a series of pavilions that offer visitors free and easy exploration within the greenery of Fort Gate. It will take about 30 minutes to complete this exhibition.
The Time Traveller, on the other hand, comprises of an hour-long multimedia show that showcases over 700 years of Singapore’s history.

There are five acts in the Time Traveller exhibit: Beginnings, Arrival, Connectivity, Occupation, and Destiny. This exhibit is timed and lasts for an hour.

Exhibitions rich in culture and history are pretty rare- especially immersive ones like these. It’s interesting to see Singapore events from over 700 years ago presented in such a contemporary way.
