Instead of cafe-hopping or catching a movie in the cinema, come and surround yourself with Begonias at Gardens by the Bay’s Begonia Brilliance Floral Display until 1 July 2018.
Native to tropical and subtropical climates, these kaleidoscopic blooms know how to flaunt their large petals framed by asymmetric leaves. Housing more than 50 varieties in dazzling reds, oranges and yellows, this first showcase of its kind will definitely add some colour to your Instagram feed.
As the display ventures through the undersea realm, you can freely voyage and admire the Begonia-adorned, giant sea creatures such as octopuses and clams. And the best part? You don’t have to worry about sweating under the scorching sun inside the Flower Dome, an air-conditioned glass greenhouse (oh, yes).
If you’d like to hear the story about the floral display, you can join their daily, “ASK Me!” 15-minute tours from 11am to 3pm on a first-come-first-served basis for free.
