Apple Releases New AirPods Pro – Available In Singapore On 30 October For S$379

Apple has undoubtedly revolutionised technology, at least in the industry of smartphones. Having introduced AirPods to the world, many have jumped on the bandwagon of wireless headpieces since. To further cement their status as the leading technology player, Apple has released the third generation, all-new AirPods Pro with various new features.

The AirPods Pro has a fresh design that is fitted with detachable earbuds and come in three different sizes of soft, flexible silicone ear tips to maximise the comfort of the user. AirPods Pro are also sweat/ water-resistant, which makes it an ideal choice for those who want to work out while donning the new AirPods.

Apple has also introduced an Active Noise Cancellation function for the AirPods Pro, whereby background noise is automatically removed – this is achieved using two microphones on each AirPod, along with advanced software programming. Noise-cancelling provides a customized and superior experience that allows a user to focus on what they’re listening to without having to crank up the volume to potentially hearing damaging levels and annoying others around with the sound bleeding out.

Transparency Mode is also available in contrast to Active Noise Cancellation mode, which allows users to simultaneously listen to music while still hearing the environment around them by using the pressure-equalizing vent system and advanced software that leaves just the right amount of noise cancellation active.

You can switch between the Active Noise Cancellation and Transparency modes directly on the AirPods Pro with the force sensor on the stem. The force sensor also makes it easy for users to play, pause or skip tracks, and answer or hang up phone calls.

AirPods Pro features the same battery life as AirPods with up to five hours of listening time. In Active Noise Cancellation mode, AirPods Pro delivers up to four and a half hours of listening time and up to three and a half hours of talk time on a single charge. The AirPods Pro will be available in stores on 30 October 2019.
