Apple Launches Its 2nd Gen AirPods With A Wireless Charging Case

Apple has finally dropped its new 2nd generation AirPods and this time it comes with a wireless charging case.

This new AirPods iteration comes with a newly designed H1 headphone chip that allows performance efficiencies (up to 50% increased usage time per charge), faster connection of up to 1.5x for phone calls and the convenience of a hands-free “Hey Siri” voice command.

Just ask Siri

The AirPods’ connection is almost instant and the AirPod syncs with your Apple device as soon as you take them out and put them in your ears.

Simply say “Hey Siri” and the AirPods activate Siri assistance without the user having to reach for your iPhone at all. A truly magical wireless experience.

To check the battery status, you can also ask Siri “Hows the batter on my AirPods?” and get an update.

New Wireless Charging Case

With the new wireless charging case, you can place the case on any Qi-compatible charging mat and the LED light will indicate that it is charging.

This new wireless case retails for S$299 with a set of AirPods, while the wired case set goes for S$239.  You can buy solely the wireless case for S$119 also, which I assume would work for your old first generation AirpPods.
