LG has announced that the Apple AirPlay 2 and HomeKit are available as part of its 2019 AI TV lineup, and its available in Singapore now.

With the help of AirPlay 2, owners of LG 2019 AI TVs can seamlessly stream content (including Dolby Vision titles) from an iPhone, iPad or Mac on their TV sets.

Users will be able to stream their favourite movies and shows using video apps like the Apple TV app. You can even view your photos directly on the LG AI TVs. In addition, users can play Apple Music and Apple Podcasts using the LG AI TV and AirPlay 2-compatible speakers.
HomeKit allows users to easily control their smart home with the Home app or through Siri. LG AI TVs can be added to the Home app. Through this, users can access basic functions like power and volume.
Apple’s features will be available through an update for 2019 LG OLED TVs, NanoCell TVs and UHD TVs. Apple AirPlay 2 and HomeKit will begin rolling out to owners of LG OLED and Nano-Cell TVs in more than 140 countries.
