Star Wars has always been an iconic name in the movie industry and this film series has undoubtedly been enjoyed by a wide spectrum of people. Well, in our galaxy, adidas is partnering Star Wars to release a sneaker ahead of the latest series in the film, The Rise of Skywalker, in December 2019.
This latest collaboration between adidas and Star Wars sees the adidas Ultra Boost taking on an ‘X-Wing’ themed design. Inspired by the spacecraft’s futuristic colourway in the movies, the sneaker features grey tones on the shoe’s body and bronze highlights for the three stripes and heel.
Mechanical blueprint details of the X-Wing Starfighter are imposed onto the heel counter and white Boost sole, giving it an inspired twist from the usual white sole. The quote “The Force Will Be With You Always” is printed along the heel tab as well.
There are other details emphasised in this pair of sneakers such as special insoles, co-branded tongues, and the Jedi Order symbol.
There has been no official release date set for this collection as of yet, but do keep an eye out for them during the dates leading up to The Rise of Skywalker in December.
