Once again, the fashion galaxy has shifted in favour of Earth’s sneaker freakers, as the colossal stars of Pharell Williams and Adidas collide. Out of this blinding supernova arises a brand-new collaboration—the Adidas X Pharrell Williams PW Boost Slides. It’s plush, it’s chic, and it’s guaranteed to give you a million-and-a-half style points the next time you head down for a walk around your neighbourhood.
People love slides because they’re easy to wear and are incredibly comfortable. Once restricted to pool-sides and locker rooms, the slides are now finding themselves gracing the floors of fashion runways. In fact, most major sports brands are carrying their own take on the revived footwear in retail stores now.
With new features such as a padded synthetic upper, an adjustable strap, Adidas’ Boost technology in the midsole, and past collaboration Hu’s Anatomical sock-liner, it’s no wonder that the Adidas X Pharrell Williams PW Boost Slides collaboration is widely being dubbed as the fitter and buffer big brother to their classic Adilette.
The slides come in three colours—Bright Orange, Core Black and Semi-Solar Pink and are available online on stores like Farfetch and Asphalt Gold for S$138 to S$145.
It is currently not known if Singapore will be stocking these in Adidas retail outlets just yet. Keep your eyes peeled though, because you’d definitely want to get yourself a pair.
