Must Have adidas Originals CNY: Mickey Mouse Pack Available In S’pore On 18 Jan

The year of the rat is probably the most appropriate time to drop all things rat or in this case Mickey Mouse themed.

In this edition of All Things Rat in The Year of The Rat, we have the CNY: Mickey Mouse Pack.

This cultural icon will launch a shoe collaboration with adidas Originals on 18 January 2020.

adidas Original refers to the shoe styles of the 1940s to 1980s which gives off a very distinct old-school and retro vibe.

The CNY: Mickey Mouse Pack will include 2 iconic silhouettes –  the Stan Smith and Superstar and will come in 3 different designs.

The first Stan Smith of this collection, CNY Mickey Mouse Stan Smith 3D will be covered in a 3-D comic strip design and will come with a pair of paper 3-D glasses to ensure that you get to see the graphic in its full glory. Quite the stand out pair I would say, you don’t see 3-D printed graphics on footwear often.

The second pair of Stan Smiths in this collection, coined CNY Mickey Mouse – Out of Office Stan Smith, will sport a monochrome lower half of the classic Mickey character on the body of the shoe.

The Superstar of the CNY: Mickey Mouse Pack will have the same design as the monochrome Stan Smith but in colour. This sneaker has its iconic 3 lines in white, with the coloured lower half of Mickey on the body of the shoe and finished off with a bright red tab.

This is quite the inclusive collection, you have your pick from an Avant-garde like design for those who like a stand-out piece, a monochrome graphic for the minimalist and an energetic coloured sneaker for someone who wants to subtlety stand out.
