2017 is looking set to be a really exciting year, and I mean heart-pumpingly exciting. We can now add five new theme parks and attractions to the long list of things to do this year!

These theme parks will be coming to Asia, so plan a trip down while you’re visiting the various countries.

    1.  20th Century Fox World Malaysia

Adrenaline junkies rejoice! We can expect the first 20th Century Fox World in the world to open at Genting Highlands Malaysia this 2017. Look forward to an estimated 25 thrill rides and attractions inspired by movies like Planet of the Apes, Titanic and Ice Age.

    2. LEGOLAND® Japan

We may already have LEGOLAND® Malaysia close by, but how cool would it be to visit one in Japan as well? The latest LEGOLAND® will open 1st April 2017 in Nagoya and even feature a replica LEGO structure of the famous Nagoya Castle.

    3. The Iron Man Experience at Hong Kong Disneyland

Opened 11 Jan 2017 at Tomorrowland in Hong Kong Disneyland, The Iron Man Experience promises a multi-sensory experience. Visitors will get to explore famous locations around Hong Kong (through special StarkVision glasses) and “fly” alongside Iron Man.

    4. Nemo & Friends SeaRider at Tokyo DisneySea

Expected to open on 12 May 2017, the Nemo & Friends SeaRider is replacing the recently closed StormRider attraction at Tokyo DisneySea and will take you on a journey through the ocean from the perspective of Nemo and Dory.

    5. Silk Road Themed Attractions at Happy Valley Chengdu

If you’re planning a trip to Chengdu towards the later part of 2017, check out the two new rollercoasters that will be part of the Happy Valley Chengdu theme park expansion. One of the coasters will even feature a 90 degree drop into a splashdown pool!

Hold on to your seats everyone!
