Bangkok is an enigmatic city. It is hot, super busy, and yet both a culinary hotspot and a lively entertainment hub. To truly enjoy Bangkok, one has to embark on a never-ending quest to locate the many hidden finds which seem to reside in inconspicuous corners.
TrueLove At Neverland is one such gem.
Nestled between a couple of terrace houses, this quaint cafe is quite the dog lovers’ paradise, where you’ll get the chance to get up close and personal with more than 20 Siberian Huskies.
Unfortunately, getting to the cafe is a little bit of a chore. I recommend hopping in an Uber, or taking a tuk tuk (auto-rickshaw) from the nearest BTS train station (Ari Station). The latter will only cost you about ฿30 – ฿40 ($1.20 – $1.60).
Entry to the cafe is ฿350 ($14.20) and you’ll have to pay before being allocated a table. Each entry ticket comes with a complimentary drink and a slice of cake.
When we arrived, a queue had already formed. TrueLove At Neverland only offers two interactive sessions a day (except Mondays) — 12.30pm & 3.30pm. Entry is strictly on a first-come, first-served basis and you cannot make reservations.
We’ve heard stories from those who arrived late for the 12.30pm slot and were made to wait two hours till the next session. To avoid disappointment, we recommend arriving 30 minutes earlier.
Besides the fully air-conditioned indoor space, the cafe also boasts a cosy al fresco area which provides visitors with a platform to view the mischievous huskies at play in the courtyard.
You’ll be glad to know that the cafe adheres to high cleanliness and hygiene standards. The staff will only allow you entry after you put on the blue plastic foot covers and have sanitised your hands.
Prior to entry, you’ll also have to sit through an instructional video which covers the “do’s and don’ts” while in the playspace.
Unlike other dog cafes, it is assuring to know that these Siberian huskies are not reward driven. You will not be able to purchase any treats to feed the canines within the cafe premises.
But if any of the staff offers you a bowl of ice cubes, you’ll be able to treat the doggies.

Adorable and endearing, these cuties are always ready for a quick belly rub or a random candid shot.
You may also catch them brawling or playing with one another in the playspace. If you worry about not getting the opportunity to interact with the huskies, fret not.
Simply laze in one corner and I guarantee that one of them will lie beside you. Needless to say, patience is key.
At the end of each session, visitors will move to an allocated spot at a corner of the playspace while the staff round up all the huskies to the other end.
Visitors are then advised to have their cameras on standby for one final surprise — a short bolt towards you. We recommend recording the whole action in slow-mo.
There is also a gift shop within the cafe premises, where you can bring home mementoes, such as plushies, postcards, and other adorable trinkets.
TrueLove At Neverland left us with an indelible and enjoyable experience. If you’ve never visited this quaint spot while travelling in Bangkok, you are missing out on a whole lot of fun.
