Korean hip-hop star G-dragon has worked with Nike through his apparel brand PEACEMINUSONE to release new Air Force 1 Low “Para-noise” sneakers. The shoes will release worldwide on 23rd November 2019.
The shoes come in a black upper that is said to have a special lacquer which will slowly wear away to reveal G-Dragon’s personal artwork. The inner sole takes on a similar artistic chaos as the worn-away upper that the Korean star is known for. Additionally, the tongue will be embellished with a daisy.
In contrast to the initial black of the shoe, the swoosh sits in stark white. PEACEMINUSONE will also be releasing an exclusive version of the sneakers with a red swoosh in Korea.
Instead of the regular orange shoeboxes, these sneakers will come in their own box with designs akin to graffiti art.
This collaboration marks G-Dragon’s first official project days after completing his two-year military conscription. With regards to the artwork on the shoe, the star said that it was symbolic of his own dream for the world, where “youth are unified through creativity and the free exchange of ideas.”In Singapore, sneakerheads and fans of G-Dragon will be able to get their hands on their pair of Air Force 1 Para Noise for $279 at Dover Street Market.
