The tiny bags of 2019, are we bringing this trend with us into the new decade?
Either way, how we feel about these bags won’t stop brands from producing them anyway.
Tiny bags, mini bags, micro bags. Is it truly just for the aesthetics? Perhaps other than being able to fit a pair of Airpods, are these bags functionally for anything else?
Perhaps it’s the liberating feeling of carrying less, thus having to worry less.
Jacquemus, the French fashion brand first revived the trend back in Fall 2017 with their ‘Le Chiquito’ bag. Soon after, the popularity of the bag took off and was spotted on many celebrities.
In this edition of what major fashion brand has released yet another tiny bag? We’ll look at Louis Vuitton’s Egg Case from the Spring-Summer 2020 Cruise Collection.
More so a case than a bag, this Louis Vuitton piece has its classic monogram wrapped around the bag with gold hardware. The Louis Vuitton branding is solidified with its logo placed on the centre on the front shell of the bag.
Personally, this case reminds me more of an avocado than an egg.
If you want a stand-out mini bag, this is definitely the case for you.
This Egg Case is available in Louis Vuitton boutiques islandwide.
