When Leica cameras are mentioned, one might think of the words, film, luxurious and European.
As a brand, those words are right to describe Leica. A German camera company that started out making 35mm film cameras back in the day now retails high-end luxury cameras. With one of their latest models priced at a whopping SGD$22,700.00.
The Leica M10-P ‘White’ is a limited edition colourway of the well-known M10-P rangefinder camera and only 350 cameras are set to be sold worldwide. Definitely one for the more well-to-do fanatic or perhaps a Leica connoisseur, Leica requires one to make a deposit of half the price of the camera upon pre-order. The website also specifically states that the deposit is non-refundable and the other half of payment will be made upon collection of the camera.
The camera comes with the silver chrome version of the Summilux-M 50mm f/1.4 ASPH lens with white markings. A genuine leather carrying strap in white with Leica embossing and a white leather case for the lens comes included as well to complete the set.
With such an expensive camera like this, it very much seems like a collector’s item, but it would be such a waste to have such a nice and high quality only for it to sit in its box or displayed in a display case.
