Remember the Gudetama themed plane? How about the Hello Kitty one?
Well, now we can add a Duffy themed aeroplane, dubbed as the Duffy Friendship Express to the mix thanks to China Eastern Airlines’ collaboration with Shanghai Disneyland.
The Duffy-themed plane is in celebration of the upcoming Duffy month at Shanghai Disneyland Resort in September 2019.
It’s not just the exterior of the plane that’s painted. The cabin walls and luggage containers are also covered in Duffy and friends images.
Passengers taking the first Duffy painted plane can look forward to gifts in the form of Duffy bears and they’re handed the commemorative Duffy-themed boarding pass.
An in-flight video also helps passengers get acquainted with Duffy and the other characters.
In addition, those travelling from Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport will find themselves face-to-face with Duffy check-in counters and even a Duffy shuttle bus.
The Duffy Friendship Express flies various routes including Shanghai to Jinan, Xinyang and Shenzhen.
